Our Love
Story
From hundred thousands people on earth, thousands days we have lived, and amongst many cities dwelled in Indonesia, God allowed us to meet a decade ago in a special city called Yogyakarta Special Region. Here is a glimpse of our story…..
2014
Our first meet was at Faculty of Psychology in Universitas Gadjah Mada. We didn’t interact much at that time, just living our own path.
2016
There were many chances that make us worked together in some activity at Christian Fellowship Organization (Persekutuan Mahasiswa Kristen). After much thought and prayer, we embarked on a committed relationship in 2016.
2016-2018
From 2016 to 2018, we did countless dates, shared bright and dark memories, lived through many ups and downs and finally we graduated from college. Then, life took us on a long distance relationship for a year, Wawan returning to Jakarta and Felicia remaining in Yogyakarta.
2019-2022
God brought us back together in Jakarta at 2019. We supported each other through our careers and the challenges of the pandemic.
July-December 2022
Like the sea has its waves, relationship too. After 6 years, this time the wave was very huge, the ship was broken and finally wrecked. We broke up! All the stories stopped here, we thought.
January 2023
However, a powerful force brought us back together in January 2023. We reconnected, rebuilt trust, and strengthened our bond by forgiving the past and learning from it. Our love emerged stronger and more compatible than ever before.
July 2023
Finally, after all the journey Felicia found a renewed sense of connection with Wawan. She gave Wawan a jar of 1000 stars that she had made in high school, symbolizing trust, love, and hope for a man as her long-life partner.
November 2023
In November 2023, at a Coldplay concert, Wawan proposed, locking Felicia's heart in his commitment. And of course, you can guess her answer!
May 2024
On a bright day, in His perfect timing. Wawan & Felicia tied their love in a warm engagement moment at Yogyakarta.
We believe that God's timing is perfect. He brought us together, nurtured our love, healed our hearts, and granted us a second chance. Now, may your prayer bring us to arrive to the beautiful moment when He unites us in a holy marriage to enter a new chapter of life.
